Full Circle Arts is calling artists to enter its photography exhibition / competition..
An exhibition open to all visual artists in the area using photographic media
The purpose of “Reflections” is to give area photographers a means to display their art. They are asked to look for reflected images in the world around them. For this exhibition photographs are expected to be in printed format, The show may be juried, depending on space available, and will be judged for ribbons, First, Second, Third, Honorable Mentions, and a People’s Choice certificate.
Entries are due at Full Circle Arts Thursday, February 23, or Saturday, February 25.
Reception. Thursday, March 9, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Full Circle Arts.

Genie Greenlaw created special tiny ribbons for the adult category.
The show was judged by Randy Bell, recently retired art instructor from Fred T. Foard High School and part-time teacher at Lenoir-Rhyne University, drawing and painting, sculpture, printmaking, and art history. He is currently teaching a watercolor class at CVCC. Mr. Bell studied art at Marshal University in Huntington WV. He earned a bachelors degree in art and physical education and a masters degree in art education and art supervision.

FCA Member Show, June 2 - July 9
A show of art by Full Circle Arts Exhibiting and Associate members. “FCA Member Show”, an exhibition of art by Associate and Exhibiting members of the organization. It displays a gathering of excellent visual art created by local artists. Our congratulations to the winners:

The show was judged for ribbon awards by Claire Pope, assistant art professor and visual art program coordinator at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Ms Pope has degrees in studio art and art history from Berry College, University of Kentucky, and School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her art has been shown nationally and internationally.

There was no specific theme for this competition; all ideas were welcome.
Art and Nancy Cozart juried and judged. Art is known as the “Cup Guy” and Nancy is a painter and photographer.

The photographers were asked to express their views of the urban spaces around them. They have come up with a wide variety of images, from far away and close to home.
The show was judged by Jeff Cline, businessman, photographer and world traveler.
Winners are: First prize, Modern Day Cliff Dwellers (Chicago), by Timothy J. Ambrose: Second prize, Watch Tower, by Cynthia Martin; Third prize, Memphis Blues, by Meredith Janssen. Honorable mentions: Stand Tall, by Melissa Crosson; Ironing in the Rain, by Allen Finley; P. O. B. Rainbow, by John Koval.
