There are a variety of classes offered for all ages and a variety of art experiences. Learn to Quill

 The art of rolling, gluing, and pinching narrow strips of paper into different shapes that are then used to embellish objects or are assembled to form framed picture artwork or three-dimensional pieces. 
Saturday, February 25, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon 
Taught by Beth Oczkowski

FCA members $20, non-members $25  Materials fee $12

Class space limited to 10 students,  Ages 12 and up.  Please register by February 22.


This class will teach the basic shapes and techniques for quilling.  Students will learn how to work with a pattern and make freestyle designs.  Projects include a snowflake and two note cards with envelopes.
 

Beth Oczkowski, and experienced quiller, lives in Hickory and is a member of the North American Quilling Guild.  She learned the craft in 1986 and continues to enhance her work through self-study.  She was the owner of Creative Touches Craft Gallery in Southampton, Pennsylvania, and craft coordinator of that local community’s week-long fair.  Her work has been exhibited in many galleries, shows, and local competitions

Materials to bring:
small bottle of glue (Elmer’s is good)
round toothpicks
6” - 12” rulertweezers (needle/fine point) 

Materials provided:
slotted quilling tool
1 package 1/8” mulit-colored quilling paper
2 note/greeting cards
1 snowflake quilling pattern
1 shape card

Basic Jewelry Techniques for Beginners - Continued 
Begins again early next year.
Class fee: FCA members $25, non-members $30, per class  Materials $30 (one-time fee.)Taught by P.L. Rhodes    

We will work in copper, the most inexpensive and easiest metal to work with.  Those who choose to make earrings will be charged an additional $1 for silver wire.  For a student's first session, a kit with necessary tools will cost $30  (saw frame and blades, half round file, bench pin, sandpaper, steel wool.  FCA needs at least a week notice to order tool kit.  



Part Time Art Teachers Needed at Full Circle Arts 

Full Circle Arts is looking for persons interested in teaching art classes for both children's and adult classes.  Classes are can be held days, evenings or weekends.  Children’s classes may also be held during school vacation weeks.
